Love the fact that a top player chose to write such a book and I went through games as soon as I got the book, over a few days. The games and notes are instructive of course. However, I found the lengthy variations (sometimes they begin early in the opening and end on move 30 or 35!) a bit distracting.

It added to the bulk of the book/5(5). The underlying meaning behind the interactions present in "The Hunger Games" taught us valuable lessons and ones that can be applied to any and all. Goodreads recommended The Games to me, and I'm so glad it did.
